How to Pick Among Savannah Vacation Rentals
Most guests choose a neighborhood from photos. Choose it from distance instead. Savannah is genuinely walkable in the Historic District and the Victorian District, and drivable everywhere else — and that difference decides how much of your trip you spend in a car.
Permits matter more here than in most markets. The city caps short-term vacation rental certificates at 20% of the residential units in each ward, and some neighborhoods, Ardsley Park among them, allow almost no nightly rentals at all. Every property listed on this site holds a current STVR certificate. If a listing somewhere else will not show you its permit number, that is your answer.
We manage 100+ properties and have hosted more than 50,000 stays across Savannah, Tybee Island, Pooler, and Richmond Hill. Tell us what the trip actually involves — a wedding, a work stretch, a family reunion, a month between houses — and we will point you at the right block instead of the most expensive listing.
The current rules are published by the City of Savannah STVR regulations office.
