Savannah long-term rentals move quickly, and the listings below are what we currently have available. Every one is managed directly by Sid Was Here, which means the photos are current, the rent shown is the rent you pay, and the person who answers your application also looks after the property.
Savannah is several rental markets stacked on top of each other, and they behave differently. Downtown and the Victorian District trade on walkability and turn over with the academic calendar. Midtown and Ardsley Park draw families who stay for years. Pooler and Richmond Hill fill with people working at the port, the Hyundai plant, or Fort Stewart, so availability there tracks hiring cycles more than seasons.
If you want to walk to work and to dinner, look downtown, and accept that you pay for the location and park on the street. If you want space, a yard, and a shorter drive, look at Pooler, Richmond Hill, and Wilmington Island. If you want the middle — established streets, quick access downtown, no tourist traffic — look at Midtown and Ardsley Park.
Verifiable income, rental history, and a credit and background check. We tell you what we need up front, and we tell you quickly if it is not going to work. Nobody benefits from a drawn-out application that was never going to be approved.
Leases in Georgia are governed by state law rather than city ordinance. Tenant rights, rental agreements, and the eviction process are all set at the state level, and the Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division publishes the current Georgia Landlord-Tenant Handbook. Read it before you sign anything, with us or with anyone else.
