WHAT'S WITH THE NAME?
Sid (pictured right) is the first squirrel rescued by the owner's son, Josh when he was 11.
He later started Sid Was Here Squirrel Rescue and has lovingly raised many baby squirrels and returned them to the wild.
Since squirrels are everywhere, especially around homes, this company was named for Sid and her many relatives that grace every home we manage.

Forsyth Park is right down the street along with easy walking distance to all the historic homes you want to see. There is a coffee shop close by and restaurant, the Crystal Beer Palace for casual dining. I would recommend staying here, comparatively it’s a good price. You can walk to everything, Riverstreet is a bit further, say a 30m walk, we took the free DOT service on the way back which worked out great!Thomas Keith2023-12-21I stayed at one of Sid's property's in the Edgemere neighborhood of Savannah GA in the fall of 2023 for about 9 weeks. I will say that the neighborhood was hit or miss but the duplex was great. Full Kitchen and Laundry. Bed was super comfortable and the pillows were great. Great shower. The yard was wonderful for my dog, and the house was great for the dog as well. It's important for me to feel at home when I travel at work for such a long time and this place made it work. I used the kitchen daily to make breakfast and dinner on my days off. And always used the laundry. Would stay again and recommend.
